The Other Side (2001) is a children’s story with multicultural characters and themes that can be regarded as an aesthetic exploration of the human experience in the process of the acquisition of knowledge. Se estudia en este artículo la producción impresa ilustrada de la época incunable del impresor burgalés Fadrique Biel, Alemán de Basilea. La casi totalidad de sus libros con láminas en su interior han sido copiados de ejemplares procedentes de las prensas zaragozanas de los Hurus, y unos pocos imitan impresos franceses de finales del siglo X V . Posiblemente mantuvo una competencia desleal con los talleres que le sirvieron de inspiración. La innovación de los entalladores y cinceladores de la imprenta burgalesa es escasa, por lo que se pone en duda la originalidad de las láminas de la Comedia de Calisto y Melibea.
